WHAT TO SAY & HOW TO SAY IT
(Dr ) Richard Tunbridge has delivered strategic, award-winning communication across 5 continents for decades. He's written books, editorials and keynote speeches for CEOs, Executives at Fortune 500 companies, and University Deans. Dozens of students have been helped with admission to the academic institutions of their choice. A man of letters himself, Richard has completed a Bachelor of Performing Arts, Master of Science, and Doctor of Business Administration (thesis pending). He is often sought after to deliver lectures on the principles and practices of effective communication for the marketing of commercial or personal brands. He has been called upon to judge commercial creativity at industry awards and creative writing competitions.
BICULTURAL
Being of mixed lineage, and as an expression of his bicultural background, he has authored a series of critically acclaimed neo-noir novels and fictional biographiesunder the nom de plume of Richard Tong (騰偉達). Recognised in Time Out's All-time Top 10 Hong Kong novels, you'll find him alongside le Carré, Ludlum, Clavell, Janice Lee, Mason & Lanchester. A chapter in Routeledge's Concise History of SE Asian Writing is dedicated to him. Localiiz and Culture Trip consider him a Noteable Hong Kong Author and Leverhulme Trust invited him to contribute to Stanton's Rethinking Civil Society research.

TESTIMONIALS / VERBATIMS
Names redacted as per confidentiality, anonymity and NDA assurances.
01. Brief
Outline the task, what is to be done,
and how we are going to do it.
02. Review
Go over structure and content.
Then determine ways to improve it.
03. Finesse
Tighten it up, add a few flourishes,
and ensure it's fit for purpose.
01. Brief
Identity the task, purpose and intent. Discuss the primary audience for the piece. In this first session we go through what we'll be doing, how we'll be doing it, and why we're doing it. Within an hour the topic, themes, key points and basic framework will be ready for action. The essay, article or narrative practically writes itself from here.
02. Review
Consolidate the content and structure. Here, we look at what you've done and how you've done it. What we can do to make it work harder for you? How can we do it? You'll receive the input, guidance, suggestions and be shown the way to integrate or execute improvements that will elevate the work. We don't even have to worry too much about grammar and style at this point. This is where the flow, substance, components and constituents are put to bed.
03. Finesse
Clean it up and trim it down. A final look at what we've said, how we've said it and why we said it that way. We'll make the tone of voice consistent, add a few personal touches, cross the Ts, dot the Is, and mind our Ps & Qs. Make it more you, per se. You can even leave this to The Essayist. It's what he does best.

The time it takes to get from the beginning to the middle and the end of the process is determined by you. The first session can include an online call that takes less than an hour. For second and third engagements, once you've submitted work-in-progress or a draft, it will return in better shape within 3 working days. Additional calls or special arrangements can be accommodated ad hoc, as needs must. They're rare occurrences but not without precedence.
